Let’s hope atlético can pass!If we are like against Schalke, and Aguero doesn’t get injured, we have our options. And it could have been worse: think about a Chelsea,Bayern Munchen,Fenerbahce and Atlético! We would have no hope!
Take a look at the article at the uefa site, we have some respect from PSV and Olympique Marseille:
    Aupa Atleti!

Great draw that for me as a Liverpool fan, was disappointed the rumoured friendly didn’t take place so this is a good bonus.

Would expect Atleti and Liverpool to qualify from that group. In what order?? Too close to call, especially as we have started the season poorly performance wise but managed to get results still.

I think you have the Madrid derby before our first game in Vicente, whereas we have quite a low key game we would be expected to win quite convincingly at home (Wigan Ath.), but we have Chelsea on the Saturday in the league, so may have one eye on that – I think this will pretty much pan the group out at that stage.

Marseille and PSV and capable of scraping draws at their own grounds, but I would expect home wins from Atleti and Liverpool in both games. One key factor for us is Torres – at the moment he looks tired and jaded and isn’t really the same player he was last season. Probably only needs a couple of games rest but we don’t have anyone to step into his shoes as well, probably similar to what you have with Aguero, although Forlan is a far better secondary striker than we have.

Will be nice to see Luis Garcia at Anfield again, even if he is on the bench he will get a great reception.

Thoughts on others, Arsenal seem to have drawn the toughest group, whereas United and Chelsea should stroll to the top of their own groups.

Buenas,yo confío en que vamos a ganar,el Liverpool es bueno, pero tanto PSV como Marsella, son asequibles, venga, saludos!

  5. Torres comes back home, but now he is one more rival.
The Atleti must win to the Liverpool in the Calderón.

    Great night against the Schalke.

It’s an interesting draw that’s for sure– and I think the Liverpool/Atleti games have the makings of being memorable– hopefully for BOTH clubs, if we BOTH advance! =

I think we also have a fairly good order to the games, too. PSV away & Marseille home before Liverpool stop by.

Bad news. DISH has not renewed with GolTV. They are still negotiating which means no La Liga games for those of us who have DISH….for now. GolTV is not showing Atleti this weekend regardless.

The Champions League is always being shown on ESPN or ESPN2.

However, I’m concerned about GolTV not renewing with DishNetwork in the U.S. How am I going to watch my beloved team in La Liga?
