Injury Update News

Seitaridis and Luis Garcia were fit enough to participate in Monday’s training session. Both might be included in a friendly against 2nd division Celta Vigo on Wednesday (the 8th).

The only player mentioned two entries ago that is still injured is centre-back Ze Castro.

For the friendly, Forlan, Aguero, Perea, and Cleber Santana won’t feature: all are still on holiday and aren’t expected to re-join the squad until the end of this week.

Juan Valera continues to recuperate from the injury he sustained in March 07. Miguel de las Cuevas, midfielder, still recovering, slowly but surely, from his own long-term injury.
